Best pub I've been in! Lovely and quiet I was the only customer. I ordered a cappuccino. Friendly staff. Great.
I don't like giving negative reviews, especially in the face of so much positive feedback. However, having been soaked on the relatively long walk from the car park to the front of the the building, the dining room was uncomfortably cool. The lunch time menu was very limited. Having waited 45 minutes in a very quiet room with no acknowledgment, my food arrived with the chef's apologies. It was a burger! with a few chips and bit of lettuce. The burger was very dry and tasted of nothing but pepper. The tomato had been beaten to a pulp, literally! The chips were OK. The place did appear clean. I'm sorry to say I won't return and certainly would not recommend lunch time dining.

A lovely renovation. Very clean and homely atmosphere. Staff are polite..had Sunday lunch today I must say the creamed leaks and Yorkshire's were to die for! And could have had a pint of gravy to myself. Look forward to trying day time lunch menu
Fantastic owners, food, beer, wine and atmosphere. Recently been refurbished and we were lucky enough to be one of the first visitors. Very friendly owners and the staff were attentive and very helpful. Beautifully presented food and it was absolutely delicious. I would recommend the pork belly!!!
