Really helpful staff, good range of everything from snowdrop bulbs to chainsaws and birdseed to paint with plentiful parking. Highly recommended.

Great store for all gardening/DIY/work wear and tools. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Reserved some gardening items by phone for collection later that week. They couldn't have been more helpful. Great prices too. We live in the Midlands but always visit both Charlie's Stores in Newtown when visiting our daughter. Wish there was a store nearer to our home . Thanks to all staff.
OK, so the Market Street shop is more fun, but Charlie's is still Charlie's, even when it is well laid out and clearly aimed at the more serious gardener, or less serious smallholder. Best place for wellies. Best place for waterproofs. Best place for Christmas decorations. Good range of power tools, and helpful staff.
